Getting the Most of Your Flexi-Lace-Weave™ System
| |
1. |
Getting the most out of your Flexi-Lace-Frontal™: By cutting away the defective front hairline of a damaged lace wig, this piece can be used to insert and replace the damaged portion of the unit. You can also use this frontal to give your sew-in weave, or any other type of weaving method, the perfect front hairline finish. Once the frontal can no longer be used, you can cut away the lace portion and use the skin portion to create a bun, a ponytail, or create volume for an up-do.
| 2. |
Getting the most out of your Flexi-Lace-Back-Closure ™: In addition to its integration features and a wider range of coverage, this piece will give pretty much the same options as the front piece, only for the back of the head.

Care and Maintenance Tips
| |
1. |
Always start by pre-washing the hair in cool water before installing. When washing, keep the hair as straight and tangle-free as possible. If you are washing the water wave hair texture, it is recommended that you pre-braid the hair into large braids so that the hair does not get tangled. We also suggest a good conditioning detangling shampoo.
| 2. |
After washing the hair give the hair a deep conditioning and/or you can apply a leave-in conditioner.
| 3. |
Starting from the bottom up, gently comb hair with a wide toothcomb. Try to keep in mind that you do not want to scrap the teeth of your comb against the base of your hairpiece because you do not want to loosen the knots on your system.
| 4. |
Air-dry your hair system or use warm heat.
| 5. |
After the hair piece(s) has been installed. Wash and shampoo the hair at least twice a month the same way you did in step 1-3.
| 6. |
Once installed, you may dry the hair as you wish. We recommend that you stay under the dryer until the base of your unit is completely dry.
| 7. |
To maintain its natural luster, you might want to use a light wax or silicon base product that does not over weigh or grease the hair.
| 8. |
Some oil can be used on the scalp for moisture. To best reach the scalp, place oil in a bottle with a spouted cap, such as a tint bottle.

Hair Color Tips
Sometimes the hair color that you wanted comes in a lighter shade than expected. Well don’t worry; we have a great solution for this. Using a semi-permanent color, saturate clean, slightly moist hair with your selected semi-permanent hair color. For best results, place the hair in a bag and place under the dryer for 20-30 minutes. You might want to cover the opening of the drier with a towel to keep the air from escaping too much. You can also put the hair in the clothes dryer or the microwave, but don’t make the temperature too hot and be sure to use a microwave compatible plastic bag.
When finished, rinse hair off and shampoo with a detangling shampoo and conditioner than apply and leave in conditioner if desire. When rinsing and shampooing, to avoid hair from tangling, remember to keep hair as straight as possible. To dry, lay hair flat on a towel and let air dry. This will give you a vibrant and awesomely unique color that will have heads turning.

Restoring Damaged Hair
In case your human hair system becomes tangled after washing or after having been worn for a while, follow these procedures, which have been kept secret by professional beauty salons and hair replacement studios:
| |
a. |
Fill one-gallon hot tap water into a bucket or sink.
| b. |
Measure 2 oz. of CLOROX BLEACH and pour into the bucket or sink.
| c. |
Place the hair system in the bucket or sink.
| d. |
Use a wide toothbrush and gently brush through the hair, bottom to top, concentrating on the tangled or knotted area.
| e. |
The tangles will come loose while brushing and the hair will become silky. Do this for no more than 3 minutes.
| f. |
Rinse the hair system thoroughly.
| g. |
Now fill another gallon of hot tap water into the bucket or sink and put 2 oz. of regular household AMMONIA in the bucket or sink.
| h. |
Brush gently through the hair, again for 2-3 minutes.
| i. |
Rinse thoroughly. Important! ALWAYS rinse with the base up to prevent hair from inverting if it is a mesh base. Warning: Do not allow any of the bleach solution and ammonia solution to mix together.
